Photographer’s Note
The clouds descended from the sky
And as they fell, light gave way to darkness
And hope to despair
And love to hatred
I stared from my little window
Down to the street
At the people in their cars
Behind the traffic light
I spotted people treading
In the thick heavy smog
And I thought I heard laughter
Of a child who wasn’t there
I saw a homeless man out in the corner
Sharing his loaf of bread
With a faithful friend
The man’s best friend
And who cares? Who really?
Who even knows what it is to care
And what it is to share?
Only if they knew.

Hmmm, there is a storm in the air! I like these heavy clouds. Could be sharper, but this is a good photograph.

Hi Behrang. Another impressive shot from Arkansas. I've never been to Arkansas but you have me thinking of seeing that someday. Did you come up with that note? It's good! Well done Behrang.

Behrang,
This photo evokes a lot of emotion; it really cuts like a knife. You have given so much soul to this view. The atmosphere of loneliness is captured in a touching simplicity and I am moved. It is a mirror of ‘our’ reflections. The title is very inspired and your poem has a lot of heart. Your words build on the power of the image and they are in perfect synergy.
A wise man once said, “We should not bow to the requests of the clouds in our lives” and this is clearly impersonated in your image by the bright green grass that reflects HOPE.
I also would like to add that I feel you have got a unique style. I very much admire how you achieve to show people that what might look ordinary at first sight is so much more if one would just take the time to really look, with an eye of reflection from within, as you do yourself. Thank you for evoking and inspiring.

Hi Behrang,
An outstanding capture, characterized by drama and superb tones and hues. The sky is absolutely superb, as it often is with your great shots. You use the sky to give ambience to scenes that would be missed by others. The little building perfectly balances the overwhelming force of nature here. This shot would also have been effective in the portrait format. Great work.

Hi Behrang,
You like stormy conditions I see, again here a nice one, the light contrasts may not be as impressive as in some of your previous shots but I appreciate here that you have workerd out the composition in adding an essential element in a strong position, the other photos were a bit empty.
Have a nice week end,

Bonjour Behrang,
Daniel.
