Photographer’s Note

Northwest Arkansas' Ozark Mountains is a very beautiful place, filled with fantastic natural wealth and great vacation spots in small towns and villages. There are many forests and rivers here, filling the shallow valleys and not-so-high mountains. This photo was taken early in the morning, after a rain the night before. The sky was clearing out.

A shot of the Ozarks! So seldom see shots from this area but it's such a beautiful place. Seems like I spent most of my childhood in canoes and caves in the Ozarks, mostly on the Missouri side. You have a good shot of the look of the area, I really like the mist coming up from the gullies.

Amazing photo with really cool composition. The clouds shrouding the mountains is a beautiful sight. Good details on the green trees in the forefront. Well done and well composed.

Hi Behrang, What a place and what a picture. A well captured smoky mountain scene, I know this is not The Great Smoky Mountain. However, the name of the Great Smoky Mountain got its name exactly from the scene like this. I like the view of different clarity with different distance in this picture, in addition to the smoky alike mist. A great capture and a beautiful scene. Well done.

Du brouillard qui s'élève de l'avant plan à la fin de l'arrière plan, une atmosphère. Atmosphère lourde et peu accueillante.

Very nice capture of the woods in the early morning. I like the view of the endless hills with trees and the cloudy circumstances.

A well composed shot with much ambience created by the misty cloud patches. The angle of the trees in the foreground nicely creates balance for the overall scene. The lush greenery is well portrayed here and this scene gives the viewer a good idea of the vegetation and topograpy of this part of the Ozarks. Well captured, Behrang.
