Photographer’s Note
a small man-made lake near Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Usually the afternoon colors are harsh, but I was relatively pleased with colors here. I could clearly see the effects of the polarizor on reflections from the water and sky. what do you think?

Great composition for a very wild and quiet place.
I try a workshop for the contrast and the color. I think the colors little bit saturated and little bit dark.
I hope you will like.

Good morning, Behrang.
Yes, I like the colours here, but then I am a great fan of the polarizer effect. The rich green tones of the trees really enhance this shot, and everything flows together rather nicely. It is rare to see shots from Arkansas, so this is also an important contribution geographically for TE. Well captured, Behrang.

More wonderful colors from you, Behrang! Suptuous and rich they are! The details are a bit soft, either from focus or post processing, I'm not sure. But a really lovely composition and a lovely scene.

Hi Behrang. Where are the clouds? ;) Just messing with you. Again excellent reflections but I'd suggest brightening the shot a little. Well seen Behrang.

Hi Behrang,
Great composition and wonderful, dark colours. I like the glasslike look to the water, so nice and smooth, reflecting the trees and sky very well. I think it needs a little sharpening for some more clarity, but still a very nice tranquil scene. Excellent work!

Hi Behrang - not many puffy clouds on this one, but still great, lovely reflections on the smooth lake and I also like the darkness. Re: polaeriser - I find if you want to bring out the ocean/lake floor, this reduces the intensity of reflections, if you rotate it to intensify reflections, the darkening effect on the sky is reduced, and the bottom of the sea/water is less visible.
