Photographer’s Note
This is Noccalula Falls in Gadsden, Alabama. In 2006 I took a 17-day driving tour of the entire state of Alabama. This waterfall was one of the more impressive in the state. Legend is that a native american girl named Nocalula threw herself over the falls when the love of her life was killed. Of course, I could have this story completely wrong, so if anyone knows the excat story, let me know.
