Photographer’s Note
Troy is a city in Pike County, Alabama, United States. At the 2000 census the population was 13,935. More recent estimates place the population as 14,482. The city is the county seat of Pike County. It is home to Troy University. The First Presbyterian Church is located on a street corner directly across from the main entrance to Troy University. The photo was taken as we walked to the stadium for Troy University's homecoming game. This game celebrated 100 years of football at Troy University.
Troy University is also home of the "Sound of the South", the college marching band which is well know as one of the finest bands in America (See WS).

Hi Asa,
The trees and the bushes are framing well the church. The point of view is showing with precision the detail and colors of the architecture of the First Presbyterian church. The cloudy sky sky is sending a light which is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Hi Asa!
A venerable and beautiful little church with a lovely architecture. Presenting it in this way with its well kept surroundings really works well and this vivid sky gives a good backdrop and adds a lot to the scenery. A wonderful place ...

Bonjour,
belle photo de cette superbe église, bien entourrée d' arbres et de buissons qui la font bien ressortir sur ce fond bleu légèrement nuageux.
Bon entretient des pelouses et des buissons, bien montré par votre photo.
