Part of a protest in Birmingham yesterday (3.28.2004) organized by the Birmingham Peace Project. I love the sincerity of this particular old man.

Excellent composition. I love the photos on the bottom third of the foreground. The depth of field is lovely. I especially like that you have included another old man in the background. Lovely image.

The expression, the sentiment, the B/W choice all perfect. I like the effect the pictures bellow him give, as if he's almost floating. His serious face is perfect attitude for the message he gives.

at first look i was confused by the picture on buttom left side. It looked like the man is on a bridge and that is the view from the bridge.

you have managed to capture the voice of a good percentage of the planet. Lets hope a growing percentage of US citizens also share his views.

As for the picture - great DOF, with plenty to draw the eye away from the main subject.

nice bw shot ! you should have cropped out the sign on the left to hold the focus more on the man !

I not only totaly agree with the message but also like the photo ;-P

Perhaps a small crop on the left side, just enough as to exclude the partial board, would make the image a bit tidier...

Apart from that, I like it.
