Waterlemon Bay
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Waterlemon Bay on St John can be reached by following the Leinster Bay trail about a mile from the parking lot at the end of the North Shore road. The trail leads past rocky Leinster Bay and on to the soft sand of the beach at Waterlemon Bay. Because no road goes there, it is less crowded than the other North Shore beaches of St John, but definitely no less beautiful. The water is crystal clear and calm, and snorkeling provides many glimpses of rays, starfish, puffer fish, and sea turtles. Although I didn't see one, there has been known to be an occasional dolphin that also roams into the calm waters of the bay from time to time. |

Love the depth, the clarity of the water, the blue tones. Thank you for brightening up the dreary winter days with this lovely shot.

Hi Colin,
Great framing, I really like the low POV with the clear water over the white sand deepening into the turqouise sea as it leads the eye to that beatiful curve of clouds. You certainly had perfect weasther and you captured this beauty so well that I'm longing to visit.
