Day at the Beach Photo

Photographer’s Note

A small stretch of empty beach in Trunk Bay on the island of St John. Even with the fact this beach can sometimes get a bit crowded, it is still in my opinion the best beach in the US Virgin Islands. The small islets on the right are a short swim from the beach and are ringed by a good amount of coral and tropical marine life.

Hey Colin,
Yet another wonderful shot from you! the circular polarizer has defined the clouds really well. The various shades of blue is so soothing to the eye. Nicely done.

Beautiful simple scene .. beautiful vivid tones .. warm, meditative, we can feel the sand .. love the way the layers of land and clouds gently retreat to infinity.

This shot is fascinating since i saw it on thumbnails. Every details are very nice, the sand, green sea and that clouds formation with superb sky really a perfect combination. A nice place for visit...
