[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The cathedral dedicated to the virgin of Guadalupe started out as a small chapel in the year 1670. The current building was started in 1835 and completed by 1839. It was consecrated in 1924 by a decree from Pope Píous XI. The cathedral lies in the middle of the "Plaza de las Delicias" in downtown Ponce, Puerto Rico.
