Ce qu'il y a de bien, c'est qu'il n'y a pas regarder sous la photo pour savoir qui a posté!!
Une belle réalisation sur ton immeuble fétiche, les deux cheminées apporte une touche de couleurs un peu délavée, c'est bien vu.

Hello JB,

I thought I was looking at a B&W image until I saw the pipes in the background. The details of this building are superb. The arched top gives the tower a unique design. I see a nice contrast created by the darker colours of the foreground against the more colourful red pipes. Overall this image is well composed and very appealing. Thanks JB.

bonjour , un cadrage magnifique et un contraste optimal pour ce si beau sky-scraper new yorkais. J 'apprecie tout particulierementla presence des cheminées a l árriere qui semble la pour nous rappeler à quel point cette ville est un mélange anarchique de lieux de style et vocations différentes. De mémoire, il me semble qu il faut sacrément zoomer depuis l'Empire State pour capturer le Chrysler et que le cadrage n est pas si facile. Juste pour chipoter, quel dommage d'avoir coupé son antenne.... un magnifique cliché ! Géraldine

Rassembler ainsi le Chrysler Building (le plus beau building de Manhattan à mon avis) et le pont dans une telle perspective est vraiment du beau et bon travail.
J'aime la touche 'vieillotte' de cette photo

Pour moi c'est une image que tu as parfaitement su mettre en valeur. Un effet de polution qui ne simplifie pas la tâche du photographe mais qui ici passe quasi inaperçu.

Bonjour JB,
Excellent photo of the famous Chrysler Building. The high quality allows us to see many details on the architecture. Splendid composition with the building placed on the left hand side and I like that the top of the antenna is left out of the shot. The chimneys in the background are nice, as they actually add the only real colour, apart from the B&W tones, although it still is hazy red. Great view, thanks for sharing!

I love your treatment of this one with the Chrysler building so sharp and clear and the background almost disappearing in the mist. My only regret is the missing top but nevertheless a well achieved image.

very nice the colours of the shot, that with the first glance,i was thought that was B/W.But the red chimneys were shown that the Chrysler building has the black and white hue, that make the capture so particular.The fog in the background, bring out the details of it.Well done JB.

Le point de vue que tu as trouvé est vraiment super surtout avec l'utilisation de la longue focale qui écrase les perspectives. J'aime aussi beaucoup ton traitement d'image qui donne un aspect très particulier à ce building très original. Excellent!

le N&B général et les deux touches de rouge rose bonbon sucé trois fois, non je déconne, donne une bonne ambiance et un coté rétro, tu n'étais monté assez haut pour avoir coupé l'antenne, tu y retournes tu refais la même sans couper l'antenne SVP, j'aime aussi le popnt qui semble aboutir dans le building, bien travail JB

un bon coup de zoom dans ce cadrage, et une bonne capture de la très belle décoration de l'aiguille du Chrysler, dans une image avec quelques tons si doux et un arrière-plan avec le brouillard qui paraît dans N et B.
Une belle photo, bien réalisée, et un building splendide. j'aime bien.

You did a superb job of tightly cropping and composing this fantastic photo of the Chrysler Building. It is amazingly sharp and crisp looking and I love your inclusion of the Queensboro bridge and the smokestacks in the background. When it is hazy like this and people use wide angle lens for panoramic shots instead of tightly cropping with a telephoto lens (not to mention the compression effect), they will be very disappointed. Outstanding!

Hello JB,an excellent tight composition of one of my favourite buildings.I like all the lines and patterns created by all the different structures.
The contrast works really well here with the Chrysler beautifully in sharp focus, against the blurred bg.

Hello JB,
Another great piece of architecture from this amaziing building is shown here and with great details to watch at the very top of it.
I just don't wish to have worked there on top when it was being built, but also sruely the view from that point must be one of those over the top.
I like the contrast you've created here with the background with the high chimneys and the bridge, and also how Chrysler building is so well detached from the rest of the photo and background.
The conversion to B&W created a very 'classy' feeling here.

Il est super ce cadrage vertical, pour ce monde vertical où les plans s'enchaînent : le Chrysler, les immeubles, le pont, l'usine... Et le PP amène à une lumière qui sert très bien l'ambiance. C'est super donc.

PS : Je ne sais pas si tu te souviens, mais j'avais eu des remarques sur mon post "La carte postale" où on regrettait que j'aie coupé l'antenne. Je vois que tu as les mêmes et je trouve ton choix (cf. réponse à Limule) très juste. C'est sensiblement le même que j'avais fait... Marrant...
