If you ever find yourself at the junctions of Route 30 and Rt. 133 in Pawlett Vermont make sure you stop for a tasty slice of Brick Oven Pizza. Then stop in at Mach's General Store which is an old mill where you can see the river running under the wooden floor as you casually shop.

Hello Tom,
An interesting and colourful composition with much to take in. Good point of view with excellent colours and clarity.

Tom,
You make me hungry with this one! Your composition and POV are great here showing the cooker in the foreground with the buildings and bridge behind it. The angle of the shot leads the eye through scene. The colors are great but the buildings are a little overexposed, maybe a polarizing filter would help with this. This is still a very fine photo.
TFS,
Asa

Well this is something I've never seen before. Very interesting and it must be a wonderful place to visit!! An excellent picture. TFS

Hello Tom,

I'm sure delicious pizza's are ready in a few minutes there because I have some interest for wood fired brick ovens. Seems he solved a common question very nicely while building an oven on trailer. Great mobilization.

Your photo is wonderful in rich colors and their contrast. Splendid view by side in addition your main objects and autumn colored trees too. Congratulations.

Friendly Regards,

Ertugrul

A wonderfull composition with a lot of details .
Beautiful autumn colours .
Congratulations .

Hi Tom
je regarde ton cliché et j'ai faim, belle composition de ce four à pizza portatif, bien vu.
Amitiés
Jean-Pierre

Tom,
for a short moment I was terribly fooled. I thought that you did this shot this week and that spring did a huge leap, but no this is autumn. Great composition of this portable brick oven pizza stand. It would have been nice to have some people populating your shot to give some additional life to it. Why not cloning that black thing in the right upper corner? It doesn't really contribute anything to this image.
Peter

Hi tom,
That's cool - never saw something like this before! Nice idea and very bright colors well presented. TFS. Gerald

Bonjour Tom
De jolies couleurs dans cette image au format carré.Une image bien saturée qui donne de la vie à cette composition.
Bonne journée.
Amicalement
Gildas

Tom, this is a really interesting one, I would never have thought of a portable brick oven and here it is.. Color is fine as always and your bringing out of the the shadow detail is really well done.

Hello Tom,

An mobile Pizza oven and with wood, this is very nice, modern but nevertheless excellent for bake.
Your composition and POV are great here showing the cooker in the foreground with the buildings and bridge behind it make this picture very attractive.
Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
John.

Hello Tom,
this junction must be very interesting and delicious with the pizza to be cooked in this open air oven.I like the vivid colours and the light but the most interesting is that the oven is working,i see the fire in.Well done,

Have a nice day,Danos

Hi Tom
I'm sure that I'll do a pit stop there and to taste a slice of pizza because I can feel the pizza's smelt from here .-:)) Beautiful and attractive shot with nice colors and contrasts; and I guess that it's an amazing place for taking a stop. Well done, regards, Consuelo

Hi Tom.
A very 'busy' scene, but delightfully composed and cropped. The saturation is almost but not quite too much, and looks good in this type of shot. My only suggestion would be to clone out the thing hanging into the shot in top left corner. Also, the sky is a bit over-processed and noisy. Don't know what kind of camera you used, but one which allows the use of a circular polariser would help to capture this kind of sky.
Regards,
Andrew

Man I'm gettin' hungry just thinking about it. Where's the chef? I like the colour and detail in this shot. What is the black thing over the sign? It doesn't appear to be attached to anything.
Phil

Hi Tom,
Your comment about the human rattlesnakes (ie politicians) was hilarious! There is no doubt about what is the more trecherous; the animal or the human rattlesnakes. If I were a photo editor, I would hire you to do a travel book sbout small town "Americana". You always post the most interesting and most unusual overlooked and underappreciated small venues of small towns and rural areas. You are a very capable photographer and a very good writer. I think that you could create a great book about this genre of travel photographs. Great work!
Stan

Hi Tom!
This is picturesque indeed. I am sure the pizzas must have a different taste, when cooked on woodfire in the open air!
Thanks for sharing this pleasant place with us: The colours are great and the setting very original.
All the best.
MarieLouise.

Hello Tom,
This is an example of skillful creativity!
First time I see a mobile pizza oven...
A great documentary of this special invention!

Hi, Tom,
wonderful photo! I love that portable pizza oven with the brilliantly colored flowers decorating around it. Beautiful fall color, superb detail, great depth. I remember those brick oven pizzas in Italy and they were the best I've ever had. Thanks for a great memory.
