Hello Tom,

I think covered bridges are one of the most interesting attractions in Eastern North America. They truly enhance the landscapes around this area. The one shown here seem short but its setting is very pretty. Excellent framed winter scene. The branches above add an extra natural piece of frame to the view while the colours and light seem just right. Thanks Tom.

Hello Tom,

One of my favorite bridge color with its eye catching red housing. Dried trees full with naked branches are creating a great background and depth under beautiful sky as usual. Congratulations.

One shined picture of this old red bridge, the one which very illuminated for the light of the winter. The contrast of the colors is shined, and this branch without leaves that it frames the scene is very well put. It seems a movies capture. Regards, Consuelo

Hello Tom! You inspire me to make photos too and show you some Swiss versions, we actually have some covered bridges too but I am afraid not as colorful as your wonderful photo is (we stay with wood brown, the all natural version, but I prefer this so much more). I like that you have some tree in your photo as your foreground and how it reflects in the snow, a nice way to start your picture. All so pretty out here, and I guess I take my VT map out later in the evening and study where you were. You are normally further south, right, I was more up, Burlington and even more north, or is this north? Barbara.

Tom,
This is a fine bridge! The road leads the eye into the shot nicely. Your light management is very good controlling the bright snow while bringing out nice vivid colors. The deep blue sky provides a nice backdrop for the shot and contrasts the red bridge nicely.
Thanks for the tip on the PBS lighthouse video, I will have to check it out!

Tom, I love it!! I saw a couple this past weekend myself but nothing with results like this. Your color and detail is great ad I love being able to look through the structure, great capture.
