Hello Tom,
It is always a pleasure to be online when one of your signature architectural portraits of a covered bridge rolls in. This one is particularly beautiful with the snow, the brilliant red, and the pristine blue of the sky, and, as usual, accompanied by an informative note. The blue hues in the shadows cast by the trees on the snow is quite remarkable. It is the sky reflected, I imagine, in those shadows.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Tom,
I'm glad to see a blue tinge on the snow. This makes the image more realistic. Covered bridges always make for interesting subjects and you seem to present them very well. The image is sharp and clear, showing also an excellent perspective of the structure in relation to the river. Nice work :-)

Great diagonal lines in this image of the colourful covered bridge. The blue sky and brilliant colours are a bonus.

Hi Tom,
Nice angle you took of this red covered bridge, good die angle lines in the side of the bridge and like the Polarizer lens you used brings out the blue tint on the snow and beautiful blue sky. Great job on the sharpness and clarity Tom.

Jason.

Hello Tom,
I like the point of view that you have chosen here that gives us a good perspective long the full length of the bridge. The snow covered bank in the left foreground makes and excellent lead line. Very good colour contrasts and excellent clarity.

Hello Tom,
I think the low pov here shows the bridge with a finer perspective and depth. I like that sloping snow covered bank in the foreground with blue shades that contrast so wonderfully with the red bridge. It's fine also the (frozen?) water of the river and that big white spot of snow, and as in the previous one - the gorgious light. In my opinion a very good composition.
Best greetings,

Hi Tom,
Ah, maybe this one is the version i was waiting for and how i would like to see them en would love to photograph them myself. The exposure on the snow is very good, dark in the shade, bright in the sun, but it is that beautiful bridge what steals the show here. Wonderful perspective, great object to capture and the result is a very good photo....great work, i like this one a lot.

Henk

This one seems quite high, or at least from this angle it looks high compared with the others I remember from you. Once more you have the patriotic red, white and blue which combine so well together with the red really catching the eye. Well composed: well exposed.

Hi Tom
A good use of the diagonal line in this image. Needless to say the red compliments the blue and white.

Hi Tom,
another interesting image of the american covered bridges. I´d like of the POV choice and colors capture, principally the red of bridge. Great job, my friend.

Oh, Tom,
perfect POV and perspective, brilliant clear winter light and color, mad good detail. I love that warm light beyond the cold snowy FG with its long winter shadows and I like that kind of lattice work that goes along the sides of the bridge. It makes wonderful patterns. Another fabulous shot of these fast disappearing relics. Many thanks and warmest regards,
Shelly

Hi, Tom -
Covered bridges, the few we have left, are always a fascinating object to photograph, and this one displays it beautifully, with the crossed diagonals of the bridge and the stream. The snow is mostly properly exposed, especially on the river. There's a bit of blue in the fg snow, but I see Bulent has pointed out that's a shadow phenomenon. Powerful reds in this scene, too.
Best,
Dan

Hi Tom,
The long shadows add nice drama to this well-framed beautiful bridge. I especially like the curve of the bank and the diagonal line of the bridge as it stretches across the river.

hi Tom,
I guess winter is the best time to photograph this bridge, the red stands out so well against the white snow and blue sky. the point of view you have chosen nicely shows the full length of this beautiful construction. great shot, I like it.
