Ahhhh yes spring in Vermont, springtime the smell the fresh cut grass, the sound of the birds singing, chipmucks chattering, the cool breeze in the air and the sound of streams gushing from the snow melt off the mountains..what could be better? A wedding! Yes, my son was married here at this beautiful place in Stowe....how perfect..:o)

Thanks for viewing my gallery and your comments on my photos. I'll be here and gone a bit as I have to do some traveling to visit family some with internet ..some with out!

It is just missing a person on that bench to make it perfect. The composition is great and the colours superb. Green is always very relaxing. Well done.

The lonely bench theme works very well here, located in the middle of all the greenery!
A pleasant composition, and the place gives an impression silence only broken by the song of the birds...

Hello Donna,
What a compelling verdant scene, celebrating 'Spring in Vermont.' It should be used by the state tourism offices. The darker green provide by the the lake/pond enriches the palette of the shades of green.

Nice and quiet composition in green. The public bench is ready to offer a resting place for the walker, to stop and enjoy the sight of the little pond. Nice shadows in the background.

Nicely done, Donna. The bench set among the light green and the shadows here make for a wonderful composition. I can easily imagine plopping myself down in this scene.
