Photographer’s Note

There isn't anywhere in Vermont where you can go and not see beautiful mountains. The mountains in summer are covered with lush greenery hense the state is called "The Green Mountain State". This photo was taken while I was biking on the Stowe Bike path, which is a 5 mile path leading around Stowe Village through the woods, besides pastures, over rivers and streams. The view, a cornfield mowed down in the fall which of course will be reseeded in the spring, in the distance Mount Mansfield the highest peak in Vermont at 4,393 feet. You can see that the ski trails of Stowe Mountain are still snow covered at at the time I took the photo they were still opened for business.

Thanks so much for your visit to my gallery and your comments on my photos .
