Each October, many tourists descend upon the best stretches of road in Vermont, New Hampshire, and other parts of New England to get a look at the amazing natural spectacle of maple, oak, birch, and beech leaves turning fiery reds, oranges, and yellows. It's as breathtaking as a van Gogh painting.

Van Gogh is the perfect comparison here, this is a beautiful array of rich and wonderful colours. The little white buildings also breaks the colour perfectly and shows mans influence on the whole scene. That sky is really cool too!

Autumn comes in eraly october in this region , with a so wonderful palet of colors . A splendid panorama with a superb sky , and the church as an attrctive element in teh composition .

hi tiffany,
this is a wonderfully colourful and bright picture. the range of colours in the trees is superb. you have composed this well with the church to one side, while the green grass and blue sky are a wonderful contrast.

Yes, i can see why people would want to visit here late in the season.
what i find so interesting is that in eastern canada and the states, autumn arrives much sooner than here in Vancouver on the west coast.
Our autumn doesn't arrive until mid november due to our mild climate.

I'd love to visit here! lovely colors and i also like the panoramic style view.

So wonderful shot to present the beginning of Autumn. Marvelous colorful leaves indeed, I see your coutry's condition. That seems one month ahead comapared with Japan. Nothing prettier than Vermont in Autumn - I'm looking forward to driving through next month as well. This is a great shot of a typical hillside, with the signature white church, lush green lawns, and explosions of color. Very well captured, Tiffany.

I've been to New England in autumn many times, but now looking at your photo I feel like I see this beauty for the first time - truly spectacular scenery! Such a variety of vibrant colors!
In a frame it does look like a painting.
