Photographer's Note

Middlebury is a gracious college town amid rolling hills and pastoral countryside. The town centers on an irregular sloping green topped by the commanding Middlebury Inn, surrounded by quaint shops, and focused around a handsome chapel; the whole tableaux is lorded over by the fine, white-steepled Congregational Church, built between 1806 and 1809.

Middlebury College, within walking distance at the southern edge of the downtown, doesn't dominate the village so much as coexist nicely alongside it. The college has a sterling reputation for its liberal-arts courses.

A nice capture of a little New England town here, Tiffany. Middlebury is one of New England's best small colleges, renowned especially for its foreign language programs. Catching it as the leaves are turning is perfect - nowhere quite like Vermont to see the best autumn has to offer. I'm going to be headed up there on Friday, in fact, and will be bringing my camera along!

The Middlebury town has a retro-feel about it, but still has a charm which cannot be matched easily.The colors are deep and the details are excellently expressed.well done.TFS.

You chose the right word when you used "gracious" here. The town is certainly that, so picturesque and immaculate. The Autumn colours make it even more beautiful and I like the wide-angle POV you have used. A superb shot, demonstrating a town not seen enough of here on TE.
