Day Breaking Over the Bluffs
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Block Island, Rhode Island
A rosy dawn breaks over the Mohegan Bluffs at the southern end of Block Island. The South Light overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
Block Island lies in the Atlantic south of Newport, Rhode Island. It is accessible by ferry from Point Judith RI, and from Montauk, Long Island, NY. The principal mode of transportation about the island is by bicyle, which you can rent if you did not bring your own over on the boat. Alternatively, there is plenty of hiking, but no camping except for Boy Scouts.
If you come to Block Island without a camera, well you may as well have missed the boat! |
