The lighthouse is on Goat Island. It was built in 1842 and is made of granite. Its height is 32 feet.

Nice and beautiful scene. I love the color tone. I prefer to crop the cloud on the top.Its a bit distracting of a peaceful scene.

Lovely work you have here, Frank. Of course I like the color of the sky at sundown. But most of all I like the game of horizontal lines (clouds, trees, land and waves) in a vertical composition.
Plus, I like how the people get out of the lighthouses, like saying "Ok, it's night now, let's let the lighthouse do its job".

This is a stunning shot, thanks to the beautiful sky and the sufficient light to show off the lighthouse as well as the silhouettes. I particularly like the band of grey cloud up the top which seems to help keep the eye on the lighthouse.

Beautiful picture, nice exposition showing expressive colours and composition. I like the silhouete of people and the lighthouse subject in this shot.
