WATERFIRE Providence Rhode Island. Each year Providence Rhode Island hosts many evenings to experience a communal WATERFIRE. Artist Barnaby EVANS has created many many floating grills on which wood is stacked and burned. It is a magical mixture of Fire Floating on Water. The whole Providence River is Set Ablaze by means of these fires. Huge crowds walk along the river while music of all sorts is played. The effect is amazing in its beauty and emotion. The dome in the Distance is on the Rhode Island State House. Its is said that the dome is the 3rd largest unsupported Marble dome in the world.
