Photographer’s Note
On the Amtrak train from New York to Boston, 1974. Somewhere along the route, outside Providence RI, I stepped in between cars and saw this girl who had just leaned back while holding on to the door frame, for no apparent reason. I turned, brought my 1936 Zeiss Contax to my eye and grabbed this shot, hoping for the best. She's way underexposed, but the image works in a strange way. Not my usual thing.
Scanned from the original B&W negative, Hell s3900 scanner.

Hi Chris,
I like your idea here...grainy pic with train running, and then this girl...it really works to me...even if I'd adjust this tweaked frame..
good job, have a nice day!
