Hi Jenna,
Amazing that this scene is from Newport, the silhouette of the boat makes me think immediately of paintings from the far east. THe boats has a beautiful shape, and you have composed it perfectly inside the picture.
The colours in the sky are really wonderful, the sun is almost like an eye peeping through.
I am familiar with Newport, dare I say it, from the Family Guy series on TV. I have certainly seen animated versions of those fine mansions you speak of :)
