Photographer's Note
Yardley is a quiet, picturesque town located on the Delaware River. It was founded in the late 1600's by William Yardley, who purchased the land from William Penn.
In the center of the town is Lake Afton, a man-made pond that dates back to the early 1700's. As a part of a system of ponds, dams and canals, it provided water to run the Yardley Grist Mill. This mill remained in operation for almost 200 years and ceased operation in the 1920's.
Lake Afton has its own duck population and provides year-round enjoyment to the residents of Yardley.

This is a busy photo and the ducks kind of vanish into the photo. I love the various tones and shapes and textures here.
