Granted, I should have entitled this "Amorphous Solid Torches" but it would not sound as nice*.
This was taken inside the chapel of the Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center. Villa Maria is home to the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, a religious community of women dedicated to works of peacemaking, justice, and care for Earth through education, health care, social service, and pastoral ministry. The community started in the village of Dommartin-sous-Amance, France with Marie-Antoinette Potier opening her home as a school, a workroom and an orphanage. With Father John Joseph Begel, her parish priest, she set about revitalizing Christian life through the care and education of girls. Marie-Antoinette and Father Begel believed that "to educate a woman is to educate a family." More women joined Marie-Antoinette and they sought to share a communal way of life. With the guidance of Father Begel, they petitioned the bishop of the diocese of Nancy for approval for their foundation as a religious community. In 1858, they received the name Sisters of the Humility of Mary, and Marie-Antoinette became Mother Madelaine.
In 1864, Bishop Amadeus Rappe of Cleveland invited the Community to the US to serve French immigrants in his diocese. He provided a place in Pennsylvania for the Motherhouse, now called Villa Maria Community Center.
*There is widespread belief that glass is a supercooled liquid. But according to Scientific American, it is is an intermediate form known as an amorphous solid.

You're capturing well this scene by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's impressive to see three kind of Amorphous Solid Torches of green, purple and gold which is placed in front of brick wall inside the chapel. It's so effective for the light and shade projected to the wall. Very artistic photography!

Nice capture here of the colourful "liquid torches" set against the brick wall. Taken from a nice angle showing the beautiful colours of the glass. Nice rays of light reflected on the wall looks like a nice place for thoughtful contemplation.

Not easy to take such light, the torches create a special mood, a bit of mystery, nice diagonal composition and nice effect of light rays on the wall

this is a very fine capture of the interaction among light, darkness and colours. I like very much the perspective you chose for your composition and how you framed the intriguing setting with vertical bands of different width. Both the texture of the stone and that of the glass have been rendered effectively, the play of light with shadow is fascinating. The glass vases of different colours remind me of fairytales where the hero or heroine has to make a critical choice and come to terms with their destiny:) Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

Great effect given by those colorful glass jars spreading their light on the rough brick wall. Well, in fact they are lit by the electric light underneath aren't they ?
I didn't know about Marie-Antoinette Potier, and there is nothing about her on Internet, not even under Dommartin-sous-Ammance. So she is not very well known in France. Perhaps in Lorraine ? Where Joan of Arc came from too :)
Never mind, what is important is the work she did, and I am glad some people find peace in her spirituality center.
Thanks for sharing.
