The attention magnet for Bavarian Motor Works was the i3, BMW's first zero emissions mass-produced vehicle. The innovation is not just in its electric powertrain, BMW is also the first company to launch a volume production vehicle featuring carbon-fiber reinforced plastic. Under the New European Driving Cycle the official range is 130 to 160 km (80 to 100 mi), and up to 200 km (120 mi) in the most efficient driving mode. BMW offers a range extender (REx) option powered by a 647 cc two-cylinder gasoline engine with a 9 L (2.0 imp gal; 2.4 US gal) fuel tank. It engages when the battery level drops to a pre-specified point, acting purely as a generator to produce electricity to extend the range to about 240 to 300 km (150 to 190 mi).

I find it intriguing that you've decided with these last two shots to take a back side approach, unconventional when it comes to shooting cars, but I like the originality and different point of view it provides. Another impressive indoor shot, clarity and detail with natural white balance. I love the posture and expression from the guy on the left, he's looking at the car as if waiting for it to transform into a giant robot. :) Have a good one. Take it easy.
