I went to the 2014 Pittsburgh International Auto Show today. On the way back to the parking garage, I caught a glimpse of the sky from the street. The predominant building is The Westin Convention Center Pittsburgh. On the right edge is the top of the skywalk from the convention center to the hotel.
Westin Hotels & Resorts are an upscale hotel chain owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. As of 2013, Westin operated over 192 hotels. Westin started in 1930 when competing hotel owners Severt W. Thurston and Frank Dupar of Seattle, Washington joined Peter and Adolph Schmidt to establish Western Hotels. After more than two decades of rapid growth, the name was changed to Western International Hotels in 1954. For its 50th anniversary in 1980, the name was changed again to Westin Hotels & Resorts (a contraction of the words Western International).
Delinmiş Gökler Altında
Ben bugün 2014 Pittsburgh Uluslararası Otomobil Fuarı'nda gittim. Garaja geri dönerken, sokaktan gökyüzünün bir parçasını gördüm. Baskın bina Westin Convention Center Pittsburghdür. Sağ kenarda kongre merkezinden otele yaya geçidinin üstüdür.
Westin Hotels & Resorts (Westin Oteller & Tatilköyleri), Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide (Starwood [Yıldızodun] Oteller & Tatilköyleri Dünya Çapında) tarafından sahip olunan bir lüks otel zinciridir. 2013 yılı itibariyle, Westin 192 üzerinde otel işletmektedir. Westin 1930 yılında Seattle, Washingtonun rakip otel sahipleri Severt W. Thurston ve Frank Duparın, Western Otellerini kurmak için Peter ve Adolph Schmidte katılmasıyla başladı. Yirmi yıldan fazla hızlı büyümeden sonra, adı 1954 yılında Western International (Batı Uluslararası) Otelleri olarak değiştirildi. 1980 yılında 50. yıldönümü için, adı yine Westin (Western International kelimelerinin bir kısaltılması) Hotels & Resortsa değiştirildi.

This is so luminous, you really are getting some mileage out of that ultra modern high rise buildings. It's dynamic with lovely tricolour and contrast which also exaggerates the proportions seen from totally low viewpoint where depth and perspective are accentuated by the vertical convergence lending to delightful photo impact with vertigo effect. Excellent creative urban shot. Congrats

I have to admit that I personally find none of these high rise buildings particularly beautiful but you show them to us, however, in a very beautiful presentation.
I really like your composition with the many lines running into different directions, the framing at both sides, the luminosity and the minor but brilliant reflections.
Best regards, Paul

As a Steelers fan I've always wanted to see Pittsburgh, and even catch a Pirates game. Your glimpse upward has provided a wonderful, geometric view which you've composed really well to enhance the graphic appeal. Don't you just love it when the simplest, unplanned opportunity shows itself? :) Nice, even light control...and the blue sky adds some good color against the neutral tones. A neat perspective, and a lovely urban view. Enjoy the week ahead.

The highrise buildings aiming for the sky are giving perspective to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and the colours of the architecture of the highrise buildings. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.

a delightful play of perspectives and an interesting framing of the two skyscrapers reaching so far into your frame. There's great dynamism and depth, the similar architectural patterns repeating themselves at different angles create a playful effect. I like very much the contrast provided by the blue sky, the reflections and how the dynamism of the composition makes the cloud seem like moving. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
