Philadelphia's City Hall is the house of government for the city. This view of the structure is from the Art Museum looking east up the Ben Franklin Parkway.
Atop the building is the founder of the city, William Penn. Completed in 1901 it remained the tallest building in the city, by an informal gentlemen's agreement, until 1987

A very impressive building, and a beautiful capture of it. I like the off centre composition of that huge tower, and the inclusion of the fountain creates a great sense of liveliness inside the scene. Perfect light and excellent clarity too, really nicely done. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of this very fine building.
