Photographer’s Note

It's not often you see a man standing in a fountain with long pants and shoes on. I wasn't disturbed by the look on his face, but I was struck by it. He stared into the water like that for some time, obviously deep in thought about something very meaningful to him.

In case you are wondering, this is THE fountain in center city, Philadelphia, in Logan Square.
