Photographer’s Note
This is the chandlier in the Acadamy of Music in Philly, the oldest opera house in the US still used for preformances. It had just come back from being cleaned in France within the year.
Note on the photograph itself, I originally decided to make the photo black and white because there were about six or seven orbs that showed up and I wasn't sure how to get rid of them, and in experimenting I found they were less noticable in black and white. Is there any way to actually get rid of them with a very basic photo editing program?
By the way, this is one of my first attempts at photography, so any critiques would be wonderful.

Hello Nicole,
I see you are new here on TE. Welcome! I hope you don't mind if I share some tips to start off with. :-)
First, for this particular photo, I think a wider POV, showing some detail around the chandelier, would make a stronger composition. Also, the photo needs some sharpening. When presenting an object, it is usually better not to have the subject directly in the center of the frame, but off a bit to one side. These are just my personal thoughts for this shot...
About TE in general, to get critiques on your photos it takes some time, and lots of participation. Even if you don't have any experience, feel free to jump in with your feelings on other's photos!
I hope you don't mind the advice. Have fun! :-)
