I took this shot from Compass Inn Museum in Laughlintown, PA. This is the backyard of the museum's western neighbor, obviously growing a few antiques for the future. To some, they may be an eyesore but I find something attractive about rusting vehicles.
Compass Inn Museum, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is an authentically restored stagecoach stop. It has been a landmark in Laughlintown since 1799 when Phillip Freeman built the log section of the inn. At that time, it was used primarily by wagoners and drovers, young men who "drove" animals to market.

nice the view of these elements in the backyard of the museum neighbor as surronded from the dense trees. The light and the colour management enhance the clarity of the scene.

The neighbour had decided to open a museum of his own, Murat, a competition to the establishment next door...
Lucky his place has a corner to show this display, with great green backdrop to the small wooden hut and a rusting tender.
Have a nice weekend,

Love your choice of title over here. There is indeed something photogenic in rusting vehicles. The rusting van and boat presents nice contrast with the lively green foliage all around, both color wise and theme wise. Well seen and taken. Thanks for sharing.

I like very much such places too. Today I passed from an interesting one with a little red tractor in it but there was someone working in the yard and I didn't want to surprise him so I went on my way to catch some clouds:) These places have character, history and mysteries; it's fun to collect the information of bits and pieces and try to solve their riddles. There's a very good assortment in this frame, displayed neatly and sharply and with delightful colours. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,
