I like the parallel gesture of waiving hands: theoretically, the the statue as symbol of idealistic dreams about liberty and practically the the industrial buildings in the background as symbols of disappointing reality. Thanks for sharing, Jalab

Hi Doug,
A really eye catching photo, and the parallel between the statue and the cranes is great. Excellent colours from the firery sky too!

Hi Doug
I love the shot, the sky came out a little grainy, but very nice colous and the shape of the liberty there is very nice.
nice job
cheers

Good photo. I like it, congratulations Doug.

Nice composition, where the cranes seem to emulate the inclination of the statue's arm.
Regards Stefano

Hi Doug, I often go back in your sight to look over some of your photos, this is one I missed, the soft sepia tone creates a beautifully peaceful mood, the silhouette of this most famous statue is excellent &, really contrasts the old with the new of the cranes, I love the distance shown in the photo, the overall composition is very good indeed, kind regards Wilson.
