Photographer's Note
Coney Island, in Brooklyn is a bit ... a funny feeling to think you are in New York while on a beach on the Atlantic. With these old outdated amusement park , the atmosphere is guaranteed. That's what inspired me this one in cross-treatment to enhance the peculiar atmosphere...
For the record, the island,inhabited by rabbits, was called "Konijn Eiland" by the Dutch settlers and when the English came, the place was renamed "Coney Island".

J'aime bien le traitement de cette image et le résultat un peu froid sied bien à l'objet et au site photographié. La suggestion d'atmosphère est opérante et le côté désuet du lieu transparaît bien.

Voici une photo qui degage une atmosphere toute speciale grace a sa dominante bleutée et son vignettage. cela donne un style retro fort plaisant qui se marie bien avec ce tissu urbain.

The mood and especially the pp work to gain these colours are first rate. Im trying to think who started this style of photography as it has been done before but it sure looks great. Impressive work.
