The Mohawk River is the only major river east of the Mississippi that west to east which made the Erie Canal possible.
Thus making New York City the main port in and out of Europe to America.

Each posting brings another shot more beautiful than the last one.
It's a very pretty shot, the fall colours and that magnificent light, superb.
A broadside shot out of the kayak this time eh!!

This is another great shot from your kayak. The reflection is great adding depth and balance to the scene. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has excellent sharpness. The autumn colors are nice and add a beautiful glow for the shot.

Hello Tom, An excellent capture of reflections in the Mohawk River. Autumn browns predominate here, but the river has its say with the bit of blue at the bottom and the sky bright at the top. . A real eye catching scene. Nicely done. Roger

An excellent framing and superb coloured reflections. The good management of light give these reflections but too very nice autumn's warm colors under a beautiful blue sky.
