Niagara Falls is such a fantastic experience that you will find yourself trying to see them from every possible angle, and one unique view that lets us get up so close and personal with the falls is from the Cave of the Wind. Visitor clad in a bright yellow raincoats can be seen taking a thrilling walk on series of red wooden walkways to the famous 'Hurricane Deck' or the stormy mist zone where soaking up experience take a new meaning! As you stand at the railing, you are a mere 5 meters from the billowing torrents of Bridal Veil Falls.

There is nothing but mist, white water and noise! The pounding waters loom above and dousing with a generous spray as you face the thundering Falls head-on. The noise is tremendous like walking into a hurricane, with the wind and mist from the falls trying to steal the raincoat and soak you. This is where you will get drenched, really drenched. I really can’t believe I was just so close to a gigantic waterfall… and the power and the wind it had — Wow!!

It’s massive, and the flow of water over its edge is impressive to say the least and lethal to say the most. Despite that, the Bridal Veil Falls is the only waterfall in the Niagara System you can actually ‘touch’ but delivers an unforgettable thrill, just meters away from the thunderous, cascading waters.

It looks pretty tame from this view point.....
