As a New Yorker, I have to give you a point for this one. Good observation. It's true. We don't pay attention to signs like that. The composition of the photo is good, but the image seems to be lacking contrast and sharpness. I did a workshop to give you an idea of what you could do. (Whoops. I've reached my limit for the day. I'll post my workshop tomorrow, but all I did was sharpen a little, pick up the luminosity and increase the contrast.)

Hei Janne,
I thought you meant the ban sign by New Your attitude. Good tension between the sign and people. I'd like to see the text on top, now it's cut.
