Very beautiful autumn scene. I guess it's a perfect time to have a walk in Central park. Well taken, enjoy a good day.

You photograph contribute to give me the desire to visit that famous park.
The palette of colors seems to be gorgeous.
Thank you for sharing.

The combination of NYC skyline and autumn leaves is quite unbeatavle, and still it's probably the boat that will stay in my memory. The red, blue and white clothes are very catchy and sort of break through the somewhat hazy light.

Kristin, what a remarkable scene! I like the composition of autumn trees and modern buildings reflected in the water with a boat passing by. I think it would be worth considering to crop a bit of the white part of the sky and concentrate more on the reflection. Thanks for sharing! :)

Nice view with these fall colors for these leaves, good also wit reflections on water and people ... interesting memory for this particular day.

Thanks for thinking of NY. :-) I love Central Park, and your photo really captures the fall colors well. Since it was a cloudy day, the colors jump out even more. I love to sit by the lake and feed the turtles. Last time I did that, a pair of giant geese came out of the water and sat right next to me, waiting for some bread. :-)

Beautiful picture, perfectly framed. The fall colors and boat on the mirror like lake gives it a tranquility, not normally associated with New York City.

Like minded indeed!
The atmosphere that exudes from this image is just the kind of thing needed on a day like this. There's a quiet calm, one that would put most anyone in a reflective sense of being considering this particular day in history. Even with a "dull" sky there's so much color in this scenic imagery from Central Park...I sure hope to see it one day myself during the Fall. We only get a little less brown here!?
I really like the fact that this is not one of the traditional shots from the park, it gives an entirely new appeal to the park itself, as well as NYC. Compliments on an original viewpoint. Well done, and well deserving of appreciation on this day!
Friendly wishes from Az.,

NYC, I expect (and hope) was on a lot of minds yesterday and understandably so. I know it was on mine. A shot that gives us a contemplative mood and one that is fitting considering the events of 9/11. Beautiful autumnal shades here and a real sense of tranquillity that contrasts so effectively with the impact of the events on that terrible day in 2001.

Hi Kristin. Nothing enigmatic or experimental here- just a lovely and tranquil autumnal scene. The world at peace- if only. Best wishes. Klaudio.
