Photographer's Note
A hazy day makes for kind of a dull photo, but I'm sure any New Yorker would welcome that any time over what they, and the entire Northeast section of the United States, have just experienced.
Thoughts and best wishes to all those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Hello Jason,
Thanks for thinking of NYC during this difficult time. Even though the view is hazy, it is still beautiful. I like the way you used the tree to frame the top of the photo.

Nice gesture Jason, and let me add one of my own: whenever looking on NY skyline I feel something is missing, the Twin-Towers of WTC. Sorry, but that's how I remember Manhatten from 1978.
Placing the scrapers underr tree canopy and above the bay promenade was a good idea, pitty about the mist - but not much you could have done about.
Enjoy a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Jason,
Pictures with mistig atmosphere have always a specially feeling.
The marathon of New York becomes not run, of course through the big hurricane Sandy, a very big calamity for the much victims and family.
Also your picture is wondeful with depth and perspective.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

hi Jason,
Love the perspective here, amazing how you can make a city of millions of people look to be something that you could just pick up and put in your pocket, but thats exactly what you did here. The framing of the scene with the tree is a great idea, and works really well! Thanks again, have a great weekend.
All the best
Noel
