Photographer's Note

Whether you have a radio-powered sailboat or a wind-powered sloop, model boat sailing in Central Park's Conservatory Water is a delight for participants and observers of all ages.

Conservatory Water is open for sailing from approximately April through October. You can bring your own model sailboat or rent one from Central Park Model Sailboat Rentals. Their hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 11:00 am-7:00 pm
Friday: 11:00 am-10:00 pm
Saturday: 1:00 pm-10:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am-8:00 pm

nice the snapshot with the young boy to play with his radio-powered sailboat in the waters of the lake.I like the charmy moment as the excellent light and colour management of the image.

Hello Andre,
I like your focus on this happy boy, with all of the blurred activity in the background. Having one boat in the frame is very effective, and the reflection is very nice. I like all of the green color, too.

The little colourful boy is perfectly sharp against the blurred background. He really seems to be very happy here in this well composed picture.

me gusta la serie de fotos que tomaste en el Central Park, es realmente un lugar maravilloso y emblemático para la ciudad de NY. Ver estas fotos me ha recordado grandes momentos vividos allí.
Me gusta esta toma en la que has captado la vitalidad del niño jugando con su barco radiocontrolado, y la gente disfrutando del parque al fondo, perfectamente desenfocado para dar realce al primer plano.
Bonita luz y buenos colores, en una composición atractiva y bien realizada.

uma linda foto, gostei do enquadramento que valoriza o garoto no primeiro plano e os detalhes como a miniatura de barco no centro com um monte de verde. lindos contrastes, boa luz suave e ótima nitidez. bem feito.
