Times Square – 42nd Street is a large station complex of the New York City Subway, located under Times Square at the intersection of 42nd Street, Seventh Avenue, and Broadway in Midtown Manhattan. When considered together with 42nd Street – Port Authority Bus Terminal, it is the busiest complex in the system, serving 60,604,822 passengers in 2011.[2]

The complex provides free transfers between the IRT 42nd Street Shuttle, the BMT Broadway Line, the IRT Broadway – Seventh Avenue Line and the IRT Flushing Line, with a long transfer to the IND Eighth Avenue Line one block west at 42nd Street – Port Authority Bus Terminal. It is served by the:
1, 2, 3, 7, N, and Q trains at all times
R and 42nd Street Shuttle trains at all times except late nights
trains during rush hours in the peak direction

This is truly a daily life picture, it couple to the left has a lot pleasure during them wait time.
Sharpness and clarity are excellent.
Good composition nice presentation too.

Good tight framing giving a colorful image of daily life activities. I like the reflections or see through effect in the windows. Looks like the girl is checking the weather.

I enjoy this pic. only becouse I know where the location is, Lakshmi.
The Time-sq. is a colorful area, illuminated with a flikering ad's, but yet, it's subways station are notoriously known.
This pic. convey the exact view seen on a s=daily basis there.

though a bit late, I want to congratulate you for your 6th anniversary in this site.
I like this urban, very spontaneous and vital scene, in which we can see the dynamism of the people who pass through this subway station in Times Square.
The reflections on the glass front increase the graphical quality of this composition.
