Photographer's Note

It was a nice day on 3oth of December after the heavy snowfall we had. The walk along the Hudson River was very refreshing with the bikers, skaters and joggers passing you. The tourists with their cameras wer taking lots of pictures for memory sake. I had my camera to capture the beautiful sunset through these naked branches.

The trees and their branches form an intersting graphic effect on the orange sky. I like the varius tones of colors in this image.

Well I'll be! They have those exact same blue falling rain decorations in many cities in China! Very good warm sunset colours of yellow & orange! Superb graphism with nice repetitive silhouettes of the branches. Tfs!

Hello Dear Lakshmi!

This is a very lovely and a very memorable image made at one of the very last moments of the year 2010. I love the texture of this photo. All the naked branches of the trees speak beautifully of the season. And the colours presented in the photo are overwhelmingly emotional and at the same time poetic. The image consist of only three elements, the gradation of the oranges and yellowish colours, the texture of the branches, and the season’s decorations in metallic reflective materials. The beautifully selected key elements and their exclusive simplicity speak well of the moment captured in the photo. I wonder how I would have approached the same moment if I were there to see the scene. The expansive quality of the image is most welcoming.

a fantastic combination of orange tonalities on the sky with the dark silhouettes of the branches of the trees, in a great capture at sunset time, creating a very powerful composition graphically.
The vertical elements which are hanging of the branches they add a graphical and mysterious touch to the ensemble.
