CÂNIONS URBANOS !

Manhattan is full of life, with lots to see and do! Many buildings have wonderful architectural details and some are landmarks that are famous worldwide! Crowded with pedestrians, but also cars and other vehicles, many times turn that island into an unbearable place! Not always though... I really enjoyed those days there and had fun walking around!
Manhattan can also be seen as a place full of urban canyons, streets and avenues surrounded by the tallest buildings in the World!

Back to archive and your NYC photos! Nice view of the urban canyon. Not so much traffic here (after the traffic in Asian cities :)). Pleasant photo with nice mood. Nice light.

Hello Ney,
The skyscraper canyon and the yellow cabs say it all; this has to be the Big Apple. Captured at just the right moment with the two cabs coming in from either side and framing the lady on the crossing. Light, colours and sharpness are all fine.

classic and iconic shot of NYC. Yes it is a canyon albeit man-made. Love the depth in this shot and the sense of movement created by the cab on the left. Executed and presented perfectly.

Very nice composition with great perspective that gives us the image of the street lost in the distance, I like the feeling of motion given by two taxis on both sides of the image in the foreground.
Magnificent management of the shadows and lights and a very natural color. Well done.

I love the chaos and confusion of this city and your photo conveys all that chaos and dynamism so well. The yellow cabs contrast beautifully with the blue tones and you handled the extremes of light and shade so expertly. Nice job, thanks for sharing.
