Just north of the tip of this fantastic building, The flatiron building from 1902, stands now a statue, a crow with a red rose hanging from its mouth. It is made of 5000 iron nails and weighs 5 tons.
If You have not seen the building before, please note that its entire surface is nicely decorated, from the ground and all 87 meters up. This is extremely unusual, and beautiful!

Perhaps this is the slimmest building in the world tht still stands proudly. the compo work fine as the crow is there to guide us into the scene smoothly. clarity is good on overcast day, well colored and extremely stands out shot with speck of red serves as an effective colour breaker. Well done shot.

Une photo étonnante, très réfléchie pour sa composition, la rose posée au centre, ajoute un contraste et une discordance dans la tonalité d'image.
Très beau travail.

I remember the flatiron but not the crow!
This is quite a revelation!
The crow is very well textured in your shot and I love the complex perspective changes!
A very original viewpoint.
My warm regards,
