This is really great capture full of incredibly wonderful light! The visual effect is awesome. Like it a lot! Perfectly executed and composed scene. TFS.

It's great that you here here in NYC recently. :-) I like the High Line very much, and this photo captures the essence of this space very well. I like that you shot into the sun, creating an interesting burst of light over the woman walking by. You were able to include some of the modern architecture while also getting the old tracks. I like it. :-)

I recently spent some time there, without any photos of this quality.

Hello Philippe - we've had a number of High Line shots here recently, and with good reason - such a great opportunity to get a high POV on Manhattan. Here, though, you've given the shot over to the park itself with a high vantage point of your own! the lines in the lower half of the frame are wonderful and varied, and you've made excellent use of lens flare to create a counterbalance to them. that plus the woman's own gaze gives the eye several different paths to follow here. Very nice shot.

J'aime ta composition verticale mais je ne suis que moyennement convaincu par ces flares produits par ce soleil aveuglant.

This is a great shot to see Philippe, a nice pairing with your last post and interesting to see. The High Line garden is a superb idea and what a pleasure to be able to walk above the city streets and through an area of greenery. The captures the idea well. Well managed tricky light add to the unique look of the location. Warm regards Rosemary

You have captured the spirit of the high line beautifully here. All that makes the high line so attractive is here, the lush green vegetation, the old rails and the well maintained walkways. Even the big lens flare created by the direct sun adds a special mood to the scene.
have a good day

This is a skill challenging shot with delicious result I love, shooting into the tight with all the attractive elements arround to add the vibrancy of the hidden beauty Your timing is just great too, worth the wait as she is just a the right spot almost in line the flare! This is a tremendous effort, very promising and great to view My congrats

You posted this a while ago, but I just discovered it. You've done a superb job capturing the essence of the High Line in a quiet moment. Judging by the light, it must have been early morning, the best time to enjoy this newish delight in ny.
You manage the colour, the composition and POV beautifully. Great work!
All the best,
