"The little red lighthouse and the great grey bridge" is a famous children's book about this lighthouse. It was placed here in northern Manhattan to warn of shoals on the Hudson River, and then the George Washington Bridge (Route I-95) was built above it. That's New Jersey across the river.

Nice one. A great perspective and really well composed.Quite imposing...the bridge that is, but the lighthouse too, because of its closenness, and of course the great color. Well chosen post proccessing I think! Fine work, cheers,

Great perspective on the bridge and lighthouse. The bold red stands out so well against the grey stormy sky and background. Excellent depth of field and sharpness.

Very good POV, great perspective. But I think post processing was slightly more then necessary (by the way, it would be nice to tell what tools you used). Nevertheless, great job!

Very interesting pic...the red of the lighthouse immediately grabs attention and the post processing is excellent.
