Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park

It was inaugurated on October 24, 2012, I visited it only a month after

At the background on the left is what remains of the former Smallpox Hospital, which later became a nurse's school, was abandoned in the 1950's
That s why Roosevelt Island, formerly called Blackwell's Island, was once where people with contagious diseases was located

Ici un stitch avec 2 images horizontales aurait pu pemettre d'inclure le sommet des arbres, mais tu de débrouilles pas mal avec ton D300

I like the effect you have created using symmetrical composition providing a much more visually interesting focus straight onto the main interest with excellent foreground. Good tonal range, vividness of colors, clarity is subtle, well detailed, and the spanning bridge is a real bonus here. Excellent photo works. Congrats.

Hello Maria,

You're capturing well this place by a good composition and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see tree's row with symmetry and unique bridge. Here looks like a quiet place in noisy NY. The whole is harmonized well by beautiful color balance. And, two cute kids on riverbank draw out special good effect in this image.

Muy original y atractiva composicion, me gusta el punto de fuga que crean esas dos lineas de arboles, que van a converger a la altura del puente, buen juego tambien de lineas geomentricas en la composicion.
Muy bonito contraste de colores, en un dia pleno de sol, que da una gran iluminacion a la imagen.
Bonito trabajo.

Bonjour Maria,

J'aime bien cet ensemble de lignes droites qui se coupent parfaitement. L'allée donne beaucoup de profondeur et l'inclusion des enfants ajoute à la composition. La lumière est donne des couleurs naturelles et une bonne netteté.
