America is not only New York and I want to show you different views of this big country. So this is my last photo from New York in November.
Another shot from helicopter over Manhattan.

A view that is at the same time very attractive and somewhat frightening (I live in a small place).
I'm quite convinced that your helicopter flight offered you the most stunning views of Manhattan.
A nice variety of colours.
Your title is very well chosen.
Best regards, Paul

La vue depuis un hélicoptère est excellente;

This scenery is absolutely awesome, looks like an endless ocean of skyscrapers stretching in all directions. We get here a great aerial view showing the high urban density of this concrete jungle. Very clear and sharp image, so impressive. Well done.

Whatever the cost of the helicopter trip, it was worth it, as you have gotten some fantastic scenes from up in the sky, and this is right up there with them! I love the densely packed buildings, showing this as one of the most urban of urban places. It also reminds me of the PC game Sim City, which I played for many many hours in my youth. This gives me the desire to play again!
All the best

a good one to makes us aware how small we are:)A real jungle made of concrete and steel and really excellent presentation of vastness of N.Y.
I see your helicopter flight has paid off with many spectacular views,we normally wouldn´t get to see from any point of view in the city.
Have a nice weekend

impressive view of the many skyscrappers of the city, leading to your well thought title concrete valley or urban jungle.

It seems from this photo that NYC has no trees...or grass...or even streets! It looks like there are just buildings piled on top of one another. :-) I'm having fun examining this photo and looking for buildings that I know. I've seen a few so far. I hope all is well on your side of the world! :-)

Hi Serghei, Going with a helicopter over Manhattan was unusual but splendid idea. What shots you made there! stunning view and fantastic sharpness. I look at it in awe. I hope it is not the last photo from NYC. Another good thing is that you inspired Craig :).

nice and successful the tight frame from the 'Valley' of concrete.I like the view from above with all these buildings to make NYV so separate.
holmertz (31260) 2013-11-05 7:57
A well known but always fascinating view. No doubt a helicopter offers an even more fantastic view than could be found in any skyscraper. It makes me feel small, somehow.

Guess it's not expensive for such an experience! This pov is amazing, I like the shot a lot. I'm sure you got a great series during the trip.

A sea of concrete well captured without the horizon,

hi serghei. very interesting aerial view of nyc from heli. pin sharp details on tiny buildings. contrast is nicely set to pop out the different hues, and the crop excluding the sky makes it look quite claustrophobic.

Stunning POV, I knew it, you were inside the helicoter! was it scary? I declined to join a friend cause there were always unfortunate events in this helicopter ride. Well, looks like you're all fine. LOL! NYC never fails to amuse me, being there is simply overwhelming! Great shot!
