This is my next photo of NYC. In WS you also can to see "my" flying horse.
Manhattan is one of the five boroughs of New York City, geographically the smallest but also the most densely populated in the city. Located primarily on the island of Manhattan at the mouth of the Hudson River, the borough is conterminous with New York County, an original county of the U.S. state of New York. The borough and county consist of Manhattan Island and several small adjacent islands: Roosevelt Island, Randall's Island, Wards Island, Governors Island, Liberty Island, part of Ellis Island, Mill Rock, and U Thant Island; as well as Marble Hill, a small area on the mainland bordering the Bronx. The City of New York originated at the southern tip of Manhattan and expanded northward.
For those whom it concerns.
28 yers ago, in October, 15, 1985 Michael Gorbatchyov said: he began the large-scale economic (and politic, some later) changes in the USSR.
It was a beginning of PERESTROIKA and the ending of the biggest communist experience in the world history.

Fine 'flying horse' view of the mega - Manhattan, unlike any other island in America. The Empire State Building still dominates the sea of high rise structures.
PS: Perhaps the best economic system is a blend of the best parts of Communist, Socialist, and Capitalist theories?

A very sharp and distinct image of the high-rises. Great colors and DoF. You have used light superbly,

This is absolutely amazing view on the impressive Manhattan! Love it! You had a really great idea to take a helicopter's trip there with a possibility of taking pictures. Excellent work. Very well seen and executed.

A very impressive bird's-eye view of Manhattan!
I love the transition from the rather warm brownish tones on the foreground to the colder bluish further up and finally the misty distance.
Best regards, Paul

Good morning my friend,
You must be having a great time now seeing all of these pictures on the big screen, and also a lot of fun putting them together to show. :)
This particular shot captures the heart of Midtown with the ESB, MSG, Chrysler Building and even a hint of Times Square. NYC in a nutshell, wow...what a viewpoint! I hope we get many more from this helicopter ride, the perspectives give such a strong sense of the scale and architecture of this city that never sleeps. Another solid shot from a moving object! Enjoy the new day. Take it easy.
Best wishes from Phoenix,

A very impressive view! Most visitors in NYC only get to see this from Empire State Building, this is much better!

This is an impressive look at a great city, taken at an optimum time of day for good shadow definition. The low altitude gives the impression of being in another large building. A perfect look at NYC!

another awesome shot of this man made mountain range. Such amazing textures and detailing that jumps off the screen so appealingly. Superb!

what a wonderful trip and a great reportage. Fantastic postcard lie view from NYC. It probably gives away the essence of this city. You got here Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building. The slight fog far in the ditance adds a nice touch here.

Fantastic capture of manhattan, the composition is excellent but the atmospheric film and the pollution really degrade the quality of the result.
TO my mind, the previous shot was better in quality but this composition is even better in framing

Looks like you are having an amazing time in the land of the dollar bill, and this secondary helicopter shot of the NYC skyline is also superb. Good sharpness and framing and a nice decisive moment shot. I know from experience there isnt a great deal of time to frame and compose a shot AND avoid any camera shake or tilt. Tfs!

another shot of Manhattan fro a helicopter and another time I´m amazed by the view! Here we get finally good impression, why N.Y is called a concrete jungle:)
Superb shot Serghei(I bet not the easiest task to take picture from a helicopter-I´ve never flown with a helicopter, but I imagine must be quite bumpy)
What I like more is the hidden in mist far background.
Have a nice day

The view down to Manhattan is clever. The composition is well chosen, with excellent combination of light and well balanced colors and perfect deep depth of field. The overall composition is very good. Bravo. Have a nice weekend.

another great viewpoint.
so cool to read that you actually had a hole in the glass to peek your camera through.
Hope you had the camera strap around your neck!!
excellent shot, I wish I was up in that helicopter too.
