Photographer’s Note
One of the most peaceful sun rises I have ever seen and experienced. While my girlfriend slept at 5:30 in the morning I wondered away from our cabin and to the shore of Lake George. I was hoping for more cloud coverage, but to date the pictures I took that morning are some of the best in my collection. For this picture I rested the camera on the table you see in the foreground, set the timer, and jumped into position. My favorite part of it is the little piece of dried grass on the table...I didn't notice it until I uploaded the image to my computer.

Hi Joseph,
Lovely capture, having you in the shot really adds to the peaceful scene. I like the way the morning light is just touching the side of your face.
Welcome to TE.
Very good first post.
cheers

I read your message in the forum about focus problems. If you want the best help from other people, just post 2 pictures from both camera you used, and don't do like this one, DON'T DELETE THE EXIF DATA. By the way this photo is great. Nice mix of lights and shadows.
