Photographer’s Note

Photo taken from Prospect Mountain in Lake George, this is one of many available point of view along the road and pedestrian trail to the top. This was not very far from one of my previous post with my two friends come from another world !!

Lake George is surrounded by moutains (Adirondack) and offers mamy many activities, the city was named Caldwell and Changed for Lake George in 1810, George Washington was among the first tourist late in the years 1700. The lake is 32 miles long (52 km)with about 300 small island on it.

a beautiful phot with great colors the framing is great.
Th blue is a great interruption to the green,and the trees resemble waves, but also are indicualilesd and with great definition. beautiful light.

Very good landscape Pierre.
Nice to see a place with so many contrasts.
You captured it very well from a good angle.
The tree in the left side of the picture give a very good perspective.

Une bien belle image de ce lac. J'aime bien le point de vue et j'apprécie avoir la vue de ton dernier post. Tu avais piqué ma curiosité avec cette image. Je trouve la lumière vraiment bonne avec ce petit coin plus éclairé que le reste.

Beautiful wide-angle view of the lake, Pierre, in which the scenic surroundings are well presented in rich colors and details. The lightbeam is of course what adds special interest to this very nice photo.
At the time I am writing this, the photo is titled "Lake Gorge". Shouldn't it be "Lake George"?

Bonjour Pierre,
Sincèrement, je crois que si tu ne l'avais pas indiqué dans ta note, l'on pouvait penser que la photo avait été prise depuis le haut de la montagne, j'aurais pensé à une photo aérienne (connaissant ta passion pour l'aviation).
Paysage fantastique avec ce jeu de lumière et d'ombre liée au jeu de cache-cache entre le ciel et les nuages .
J'aime beaucoup.

Comme une photo aerienne, bien cadrée pour cet endroit interessant.
La lumière crée un bon effet comme un dégradé vers la végètation.
