Hi Prantik
I can only guess the lack of details and overly exposed waters is a deliberate move on your part to evoke a simplistic image. If that is the intention I can well understand it. However the bleach white of this image confuses me but it does have its' attraction too. I guess I'll give you a point.

Hi Prantik
I think that it’s a beautiful image, your choice to show it in B&W works well here …
You just need to cut the too big white frame … it’s just too much
Good job

I like this high key rendition Prantik...everything has been made to boil down to the interplay between the three elements - the two boys and the lake...Perhaps Mushan's confusion arises from the borderless merger of your photograph with the white background...maybe you could do with a little vignette(something I haven't done myself but have only heard about..) around the corners and then run a very thin black border around the original frame ...I think this is your first experiment with High Key effect...and it's not bad at all...

Searching for your soul, Prantik..?
(If you ever lost one?)..
High key Mexico... High key Ithaca..
I think we are getting somewhere

Hello Prantic. A classical black-and-white picture. Very puristic. Reduced to the substantial. Worth seeing and EXCITINGLY. A outstanding photographic achievement. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Wow! Prantik, this is unlike any you have posted so far...a brilliant high key treatment on this nostalgic view on boyhood! Bravo!
I see that you are back to basics, with film and Pentax! Return of the prodigal son :-)

Bonjour,
Voilà pour moi une photo qui raconte une histoire. A la fois très simple dans sa composition, et très évocatrice. J'aime beaucoup!

Hello, Prantik--
Great work here, the high key is really eye-catching. i like the border as you have it... it goes with the dreamlikeness of the rest of the picture. And the differences in the postures of the two boys is nice... one tentatively with his hand on his face, following after the bold child with hands at his sides.
Thanks!

This is great, man, touches (STRONG touches) of Sohrab here, and that's the gold standard! Stunning image with superb high key treatment.
Masterful, shot with film too. Wish I had a FAV left to give you...
Cheers,
Francis

Beautiful one Prantik.
May be little technical flaws but it is nice to watch this photos for hours.
It is strngly showing the relationship between two charcters.
Also it shows childhood..Love, & so many feelings..
Without having any action..It is full with body language.
What this Photos says that you can see ..You can sense you can feel..but cannot put it in the word..this Photo is great example of that.

Hi Prantik, a pure gem this image...
I love the people lost in the white, the scene captured and the contrast of position between the boy and the woman...
i like a lot the strong contrast and the explosion of the white..
a dreamy image..
Perhaps a thin black frame around the image it is useful... :))
ciao!
Valeria
